When Wendy turned 7 last year, we had a party for her and her friends, as well as the less fortunate kids in our village. And I also told her that that would be it for birthday parties, that is, until she turns 13 years old.

So this year, we decided to keep it simple and just  invited her friends and cousins for a simple swimming party. Let me tell you, a kid’s birthday doesn’t need to be grand for him/her to enjoy it. As long as there are food and friends, solve na sila!

Even more better for kids: friends + food + swimming pool = all-day fun!
